Milan Design Week<\/strong><\/em> has started and we cannot hide our excitement for this important period of the year. Milan hosts during these days the most brilliant and creative interior designers and architects, from every part of the world. Today we will go through the archives of one the exponents of 20th-century Italian design \u2013 Angelo Mangiarotti \u2013 whose Collection has inspired the furniture brand Agapecasa.<\/p>\n

Although Mangiarotti performed during the past century, his work still echoes today and remains strikingly modern. He drew on ethical principles and a deep awareness of moral values, characteristic\u00a0traits of this architect, who could manage to bring together ethics and aesthetics. In fact, he never lost sight of beauty and elegance and took\u00a0his own work to the very verge of sculpture.<\/p>\n

Agapecasa is originated from a collaboration between Studio Mangiarotti and the Italian bathware company Agape. It extends the vision of Agape to the whole of domestic life, with original products from the \u201cMangiarotti Collection\u201d.<\/p>\n

In particular, the collection proposes objects that deal in an unconventional way with the objects that we use in our daily lives \u2013 chairs, tables, shelves and storage units \u2013 making them functional in an clever, innovative way, and giving them sophisticated and unusual form.<\/p>\n
