During the next week, Brera Design District<\/em><\/strong> will be celebrating its eighth anniversary.\u00a0 Through Milano Design Week 2017<\/strong>, there will be an intensive calendar of events, with several special projects and cultural initiatives.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s inspiring theme is a Bruno Munari<\/em><\/strong> quote:<\/p>\n

\u201cDesigning is a game, playing is design\u201d<\/em><\/h4>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"Brera<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bruno Munari<\/strong> (1907-1998), was an Italian artist<\/strong> who contributed to many fields of the visual arts<\/strong>. Painting, sculpture, cinema, design\u2026 and other kind of arts, such as literacy and poetry. He was born in Milan, but spent his childhood and teenage years in Badia Polesine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

His motto is supported by the ambassador Michele De Lucchi<\/strong>, along with Arianna Lelli Mami<\/strong> and Chiara di Pinto of Stuiopepe<\/strong>. The latter is expected to present \u201cThe Visit\u201d \u2013 an unconventional take, on the very concepts of paying visit and displayed within an 19th<\/sup> century apartment\u2019s evocative settings.<\/p>\n

\"Brera<\/a><\/p>\n

Several Italian and international designers<\/strong>, architects<\/strong>, creatives<\/strong> and brands<\/strong> will be involved in the forthcoming edition. The list is huge, and it has names such as Patricia Urquiola<\/a>, Piero Lissoni, Foscarini, Etro Home, Ka Internationl and Kartell, Appartamento and Casa Lago, Magis, Molteni&C Dada, Valcucine and Veneta Cucine, Wall&Dec\u00f2, Kasthall and many more.<\/p>\n

\"Brera<\/a><\/p>\n

There are also special projects, including Milano Spaces<\/strong> \u2013 a brand new landmark, for design, aiming to offer creatives a unique environment built around the ideas of community and networking.<\/p>\n

Lastly, for the music lovers, we suggest 10 Pianos Street \u2013 a kermess of live shows, sponsored by Eataly.<\/p>\n
