He got his start as a set designer for films and would often draw inspiration<\/strong><\/a> from his travels, finding that this would complete his maximalist vision.<\/strong> His most iconic project<\/strong><\/em><\/a> was definitely Dawnridge, a Beverly Hills property that has been looked out by his prot\u00e9g\u00e9, Hutton Wilkinson after Duquette\u2019s passing in 1999.<\/p>\n

Brigette Romanek opened her design firm in 2018 but she has already made waves in the design world, landing a spot on every top designer list<\/strong><\/em> <\/a>from the past few years and collecting a client roster filled with celebrity names such as Bey\u00f3nce, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Demi Moore. Her approach to design is charming, colorful and timeless<\/strong><\/a>, making it an obvious choice for many design lovers across the world.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019d like to see her design magic in the wild, her firm has been credited with dreaming up interiors<\/strong><\/em><\/a> for properties like\u00a0the Greenbrier\u00a0and\u00a0the Colony Hotel.<\/p>\n

07. Sister Parish<\/span>\n<\/h3>\n

Sister Parish (born Dorothy May Kinnicutt) rose through the ranks and has gone down in history as one of the greatest designers of all time<\/strong><\/em><\/a>. Sister Parish turned her passion into a career in the Great Depression, when both her husband and father took massive pay cuts.<\/p>\n

Albert got his start as Billy Baldwin\u2019s prot\u00e9g\u00e9 but he ended up becoming a design icon himself. His biggest legacy was definitely his aesthetic and and sharp instinct when it comes to interior design.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re a design lover, we\u2019re sure you know about one of the most influential design books, Billy Baldwin Decorates<\/em>, and you\u2019ll for sure know Billy Baldwin himself. He is highly regarded for his ultra-innovative projects<\/strong><\/em><\/a> like Diana\u2019s Vreeland\u2019s iconic crimson drawing room (Diana pictured above) and Jackie Onassis\u2019 Grecian digs. Baldwin believed that every room<\/strong><\/a> should be filled with pieces his clients actually owned, making the mix between old and new all the rage.<\/p>\n

10. Kelly Wearstler<\/span>\n<\/h3>\n
