Masquespacio\u2019s design duo<\/a> exhibited their amazing work in the last edition of Casa Decor, and today we\u2019ll explore the amazing project called \u201cA Look to the Future from the Past\u201d!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Masquespacio<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is an\u00a0award-winning creative consultancy<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0founded in 2010 by Ana Milena Hern\u00e1ndez Palacios and Christophe Penasse. Combining the 2 disciplines of their founders,\u00a0interior design<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0marketing, the Spanish\u00a0design\u00a0agency creates\u00a0custom-made branding and interior\u00a0projects\u00a0through a unique approach that results in fresh and innovative concepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n \"\"<\/a>\n\n\n\n

The design duo exhibited for the first time at Casa Decor<\/em><\/strong>, and they shared what they loved the most about the entire experience, \u201cas the best memory the camaraderie between the different\u00a0interior designers<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>and designers. Each one presents their own\u00a0style<\/strong>\u00a0which makes the event very\u00a0eclectic<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0diverse<\/strong>, also with a spirit of sharing and getting to know other people in the sector that you may have been following for many years, but that you do not know in person.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe were clear from the beginning that we would like to show that a commercial product such as ceramics could (\u2026)\u00a0So we decided to create a living room in which a tribute to ceramics is made, using it not only for walls and ceilings, but also for a series of pieces of furniture. With a touch of velvet and plants, we could also give it a warmer and more sophisticated touch.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\nMasquespacio<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Masquespacio<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0exhibited a space for Roca Tile in Casa Decor<\/em><\/strong> to pay tribute to ceramics and its features in\u00a0interior<\/strong>\u00a0design<\/strong><\/a><\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0decoration<\/strong><\/em>, with a nod to\u00a0contemporary<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Greco-Roman\u00a0architecture<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0and to surrealist fantasies that give us a feeling of timelessness.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The space called \u201cA Look to the Future from the Past\u201d, explored the new ways that, thanks to Roca technology, it is possible to adapt ceramics to any use, including symbolic\u00a0furnishings<\/strong><\/em><\/a>\u00a0that \u201cobserve\u201d us and details of\u00a0organic<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0vegetation, in counterpoint to the floor and wall coverings, to form an environment made\u00a0unique<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0by its composition and\u00a0lighting<\/a><\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The elegance of the twisting waters of polished\u00a0marble<\/strong><\/em>, its light-enhancing effects and reflectivity are reproduced in\u00a0porcelain<\/strong><\/em>, in wider color ranges than those of the natural stone itself, with luminous finishes, such as the indigo and cobalt of Marble Nouveau and the white with ochre crisscrossed streaks of Marble Parana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cGreco-Roman inspiration can be seen in the space, but brought into the future and a touch of surreal fantasy. Later on the space, we have finished calling it a \u2018ceramic dream\u2019 and a space that is as if it were a mood board of Roca Tile materials.<\/strong><\/p>\nMasquespacio<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn the case of the exhibition at Casa Decor, we must bear in mind that Roca has a commitment to the environment that includes rigorous continuous improvement programs and sustainable criteria in all phases of its production process, with measures in accordance with the circular economy to decrease the impact on the environment, reduce the consumption of materials and reuse natural resources.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\nMasquespacio<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Casa Decor<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0was not only a witness, but above all, an active participant in the great evolution that\u00a0interior design<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0design<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0has undergone in Spain, by highlighting and giving importance to these disciplines, and showing the public the need to live in an aesthetic, functional, healthy and sustainable environment.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainability<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is one of the big trends in interior design, and for all that, the famous duo couldn\u2019t do a project thinking about the world, and the\u00a0environment<\/strong><\/em>, so the project uses products that \u201chave an artisanal process and as a consequence they use production techniques by hand which automatically is less polluting\u201d<\/em>\u00a0they said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
