Ashley Tisdale has made quite a career for herself, making it big in the start of the 2000s with High School Musical and her own solo music career. Now, years later, she continues sharing her love for music on social media. Today, we take a tour of Ashley Tisdale\u2019s Hollywood Hills home, a stunning laid-back chic home<\/a><\/strong> where she and her husband live peacefully with their dog. After getting married, Ashley Tisdale, her composer husband, Christopher French, and their dog, were searching for the perfect home<\/a><\/strong> for their small family. However, she had one rule during that search: whatever home they\u2019d find, she\u2019d want to renovate with her father, contractor Mike Tisdale. Ever since she was young, she was drawn to her father\u2019s ability to renovate old homes without ever sacrificing their original character. That\u2019s what she wanted when she found her 1930 colonial home<\/a><\/strong>, even though it took almost a year and a half to find their perfect home!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When they found their perfect home, it was up to her father, Ashley and the help of interior designer Jake Arnold from 4C Design Group<\/a><\/strong> to renovate the beautiful 1930s home. Jake Arnold<\/a><\/em><\/strong> had already designed Ashley\u2019s favorite bathroom so she knew in her heart whom to choose to help redecorate her home. He decided to bring a minimalistic vibe that combined laid-back chic with layers, vintage touches<\/a><\/strong> a unique feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arnold helped them find design treasures<\/a><\/strong> they already possessed, much like French\u2019s SHepard Fairey that now hangs in the couple\u2019s living rooms<\/a>.<\/strong> \u201cI actually tried to make Chris get rid of that painting because it didn\u2019t fit the style of our last house,\u201d Tisdale says. \u201cI\u2019m so glad he ignored me.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cChris has a studio here. I wrote my new album,\u00a0Symptoms<\/em>, here\u2014my first album since 2009,\u201d Tisdale says, pointing out the creativity and peacefulness they feel within their new home. \u201cI became CEO of my company, Illuminate Cosmetics, here. Renovating this place has been perfectly in line with where we\u2019re going in our careers.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It took eight months to get their home up and ready, with the final project being the fresh and airy master bedroom<\/a><\/strong> that Tisdale personally loves. Little vintage touches are evident in the use of wooden center tables<\/a><\/strong> with unique legs and stunning armchairs<\/a><\/strong>. The lighting used was minimal, much due to the amount of natural light that they definitely made the most of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the stunning design of Jake Arnold<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s bathroom done for Julianne Hough that Ashley Tisdale fell in love with, it was time to design one for their home, and, once again, Arnold nailed it. Keeping it minimal and airy<\/a><\/strong>, the bathroom turned to Tisdale\u2019s daily escape. \u201cI love a good tub, and that view saves me,\u201d says Ashley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing she would change? Perhaps only the dark floors that Jake Arnold<\/a><\/strong> adored. \u201cJake thought black looked good. It\u2019s beautiful and so chic, but I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever spent so much time cleaning footprints. I\u2019m a little OCD, and we\u2019ve had to become a shoe-free house. But it looks amazing, and we\u2019re so happy with it,\u201d she remembers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
