After January\u2019s gathering, it is now time for the September edition of Maison et Objet September <\/em><\/strong>to be almost over. Time to wrap up and get ready for January! But before we do that, loads of interesting things happened over the weekend and naturally we are here to provide a thorough report on them! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One very interesting conference that took place was\u00a0Plastic: a second chance<\/em><\/strong>. Can plastic be more desirable and sustainable? That\u2019s what this conference was about. Plastic was put on the spotlight. Bringing together designers, engineers and creatives, essential Milanese gallery owner\u00a0Rossana Orlandi<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0puts the spotlight on plastic: recycled, reworked, recovered, it shifts from the status of annoying waste to that of the material of the future. With\u00a0Rossana Orlandi (Founder of\u00a0Guiltless Plastic<\/strong><\/em>), Alexander Schul (Designer) and moderated by Clara Le Fort (Editor & Creative Director).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The style Laura Gonzalez!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laura Gonzalez is a top architect that is known for her amazing classical-style creations throughout the city of Paris. Due to her amazing work, Maison Et Objet 2019 decided to name her\u00a0Designer of the Year<\/strong>. This interior designer has just launched her furniture range and keeps inspiring us with new and exciting projects. After conquering Paris, she is now taking her \u201cdiverse chic\u201d style all over the world! This encounter with the designer of the year was moderated by design columnist Sylvie Adigard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
