Met Gala is probably one of the most outstanding galas ever, with some of the world\u2019s most well known celebrities coming together in the Met museum and red carpet to showcase art in a different spectrum: fashion. This year\u2019s theme celebrated the outrageous and the over-the top nature of camp as a sensibility.\u00a0The Metropolitan Museum of Art\u2019s Costume Institute Benefit\u2019s theme,\u00a0Camp: Notes on Fashion<\/em>, was inspired by Susan Sontag\u2019s iconic 1964 essay,\u00a0Notes on \u201cCamp,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>which describes the essence of camp as \u201clove of the unnatural: of artifice and exaggeration.\u201d It\u2019s no surprise that the dresses that showed up on the carpet of this event were not for the faint of heart and we\u2019re here to show you the best dressed of Met Gala 2019<\/strong><\/em><\/span>, the looks you simply can\u2019t miss out on giving a second and even a third look.<\/p>\n

Lady Gaga is always ready to surprise and this time it was certainly not different. She didn\u2019t show up at the\u00a0Metropolitan Museum of Art with only one look, but rather four! Putting on a performance of her own (with all it entailed, from a wagon full of champagne, dancers, umbrellas to a flirty striptease), she featured four distinct looks by Brandon Maxwell and almost 7 million dollars worth of jewelry. Only the Queen of Pop could do such a thing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And while Lady Gaga stole the title of Queen, Billy Porter was definitely a King of the red carpet. Looking nothing but sensational and slaying the entire red carpet with the outfit\u2019s golden wings, Billy Porter made sure to steal all the attention when he arrived\u00a0carried by six shirtless men draped in gold Ancient Egyptian-inspired chokers, necklaces, face masks and jeans. Sticking to a golden theme from head to toe, we couldn\u2019t be more in love with every inch of the star that is Billy Porter.<\/p>\n

Celine Dion sticks to her own personality and style with this incredibly intricate look that had everyone\u2019s eyes on her. Looking like a showgirl in this ensemble,\u00a0Celine Dion was, irrevocably, herself, and as stylish as she has ever been.\u00a0According to Oscar de la Renta, the design house responsible for Dion\u2019s glamorous ensemble, the look is made up of 18 panels that were hand-beaded by 52 master embroiderers over the course of over 3,000 hours. Impressive!<\/p>\n

A Cinderella story in New York: Zendaya arrives fabulously wrapped in a stunning\u00a0Tommy Hilfiger gown with her hair styled just like the Disney princess\u2019s. The actress walked the carpet with her own fairy godmother, Law Roach, her stylist and beloved TV personality. With a touch of magic, he waves his wands, and the dress lights up \u2013 an attention stealer, without a doubt. Knowing Zendaya will be arriving at Met Gala is always a thrill \u2013 the woman knows how to dress!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ezra Miller and Jared Leto just had to be part of this list, two of the most fashionable men in that red carpet, giving us serious art vibes that only such passionate artists such as them could provide. Miller was definitely the art kid at school and it shows as his look draws to mind\u00a0the work of Dali, Man Ray and Magritte. Jared Leto brings to the red carpet yet again the Gucci look with a bust of his head on his hand and jewelry draped over his stunning Gucci ensemble. It was a dance macabre between the two on that red carpet. Who do you think did it better?<\/p>\n

The eye stealer of the night? Cardi B! Having already showed us that she has an incredible sense of fashion, it was probably not a surprise that she was going to impress yet again in this edition of Met Gala. When she showed up\u00a0 in a perfectly on-theme, very dramatic Thom Browne gown with a matching headpiece, we knew she was a force to be reckoned with.<\/p>\n
