Specialized in top-drawer 20th-century modernist design,\u00a0Florence Lopez<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is a Paris antiquarian\u00a0that has created one of the most beautiful\u00a0interior designs\u00a0that represents her background in fine art. This eclectic paris loft\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>that you\u2019ll see belongs to the model Natacha Senechal and her family, who after visiting the designer\u2019s atelier, wanted to\u00a0gather\u00a0an eclectic mix of\u00a0vintage furniture<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0for her own place.<\/p>\n

Starting in the living room, one of the main features of the decor\u00a0of this wonderful loft is, without doubt, the fireplace that was painted the same color as the walls. This was inspired in a\u00a0Cubist mantel<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>of one of Lopez\u2019s showrooms. The armchair is a forties\u00a0Gio Ponti newly upholstered in a woven wool from Kvadrat in a stunning lighter blue that contrasts perfectly with the dark walls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A skylit corner of the rooms boasts a\u00a0stained pine library desk<\/em><\/strong>, two\u00a0sixties Italian armchair<\/strong><\/em>s, and a tree, adding a natural element that keeps the space fresh and bright. The two mid-century inspired lighting pieces on both the sideboard and side table on the corner give a new identity to the room.<\/p>\n

Lopez has also created an homage to Albers with the art on the wall, the geometric focused furniture pieces, as well as the decorative pillows.\u00a0She describes his work as\u00a0\u201cintemporal and fluid\u201d<\/em>\u00a0and has told\u00a0Remodelista<\/strong>\u00a0that the\u00a0two murals\u00a0\u201ccreate a mirror effect\u2014difficult to get across in photos but they make the space feel bigger, even endless like you could see your hand disappear inside these perspective paintings.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Edward Wormley sofa<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0mixed with the set of\u00a0fifties\u00a0freeform coffee tables<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0provide a mid-century feeling to the space that is undeniably charming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the\u00a0dining room<\/strong><\/em>, the\u00a0fifties swing arm sconce<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0by French architect-designer Pierre Guariche create a contemporary feeling, alongside\u00a0two-toned\u00a0Arne Norell sideboard that was one of the\u00a0first prized purchases for\u00a0the loft. We can\u2019t get enough of the mid-century influences of these incredible furniture pieces.<\/p>\n

A bar opens\u00a0the living area to the kitchen, where we can found\u00a0custom cabinets<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0vintage bar stools <\/strong><\/em>with a rustic and industrial design.<\/p>\n
