He therefore used those curves and other brand hallmarks to reinvent the two lower levels of the buildings that make up the Atlanta headquarters. Photography by Garrett Rowland.<\/h6>\n<p class=\"p2\">Back indoors, the ribbon\u2019s lobbies, cafeterias, caf\u00e9s, corridors, and more have given Coca-Cola a fresh public face at an extraordinary scale. Lobbies boast contemporary accents often in red-and-white. A highlight is the main lobby\u2019s pair of spectacular double-height feature walls composed of thousands of disks\u2014red on one side, white on the other\u2014that <span class=\"s3\">are individually computer-controlled to flip, displaying different company<\/span> messaging. \u201cIt brings the brand to life,\u201d Lutz says. In another lobby, the existing pink stone and pastel-toned tapestries have disappeared to make way for ever changing Coca-Cola imagery that appears in waterfalls\u2019 sheets of droplets, thanks to programmed valves.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1267 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/essentialhome.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/2-5.jpg\" alt=\"Coca-Cola Headquarters Reimagined by Gensler\" width=\"770\" height=\"514\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.essentialhome.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/2-5.jpg 770w, https:\/\/www.essentialhome.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/2-5-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.essentialhome.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/2-5-768x514.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 770px) 100vw, 770px\"><\/p>\n<h6 class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Three of the five buildings surround the largest courtyard.<\/h6>\n<p class=\"p2\">To encourage collaboration, he added varied seating throughout: booths and nooks in reception spaces, groups of lounge chairs in corridors, bench desks in caf\u00e9s. A cafeteria\u2019s paneling is a patchwork of reclaimed barn wood that was painted by an artist to recall roadside advertising for Coca-Cola. Elsewhere, bold vinyl wall coverings reproduce graphics commissioned from cutting-edge designers to toast 100 years of the contour bottle. A round circulation node features real-time social-media feeds on red ticker screens, recalling artist Barbara Kruger.
