Although not an original classic Hollywood name such as Alfred Hitchcock or Francis Ford Coppola, who started back in the mid 20th century, Wes Anderson has quickly and surely made its way amongst the list of the best film directors of all times. For the past almost thirty years, the Houston-born director has been building his own aesthetic sense, which he incorporates into his narratives, creating fictional worlds where we wouldn\u2019t mind dipping our toes into.<\/p>\n

Anderson manages to do that in his comedic screenplays spiced up by a series of melancholic elements through a the use of very limited color palettes we have grown used to know (and love) as the\u00a0Wes Anderson color palettes<\/em>. Every movie directed by Anderson has a closed color selection that, more than guiding us through the action, creates a mesmerizing effect that will create a longlasting memory in our minds.<\/p>\n

If you are a Wes Anderson follower, you might have also noticed the importance of soundtracks<\/strong><\/span> in his works throughout the years. In a vey Wes Anderson style, the director usually goes for a single band to cover the entirety of the soundtrack of his movies, allowing the viewer to much easily exist in his contained, symmetrical,\u00a0fictional world. In fact, the only movie so far that hasn\u2019t taken this advantage was the one we previously mentioned,\u00a0The Grand Budapest Hotel<\/em>, where the director went with an original soundtrack by Alexander Desplat, which actually came to give the composer the Academy Award for Best Original Sound Score!<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more is that the aesthetic current the Texan film director seems to have coined, is now everywhere. This filmography and aesthetic concept we have been talking about is something that has crossed the barriers of a simple theatre screen and made its way onto our realm of reality. And it\u2019s fairly easy to understand why. Anderson has been creating some of the most pleasing, easy on the eye sceneries, where it is very easy to exist, or at least it seems so. It\u2019s almost as if Anderson was capable of creating and alternate, symmetric dimension where everything is almost too perfect to be true.<\/p>\n

And, in fact, our final reason to love Wes Anderson\u2019s filmography concept is that we was able to shape a generation\u2019s aesthetic sense and how we view the world around us.
