Summer is almost over in Australia, but there is still time to enjoy the amazing plunge pool in this small home.<\/h2>\n

This vintage Australian home<\/strong><\/em> in Melbourne has been added a brick extension by architecture studio Make Architecture<\/span><\/a>. What used to be a classic Victorian cottage is now a refurbished modern house with a nice courtyard and a plunge pool in the back. This project by the Australian studio is so great that we have decided to share it with you.<\/p>\n

As we have seen before, houses in Australia don\u2019t follow a rigorous architecture style, having influences in the most varied styles and times. This Victorian cottage named\u00a0Perimeter House<\/em> received a major transformation thanks to Make Architecture. Located in a mostly industrial neighborhood in Abbotsford, the architecture studio took this inspiration to create Perimeter House\u2019s<\/em> new brick fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n

This new bricked extension on the western and northern parts of the house allowed for the kitchen and dining area to receive direct sunlight!<\/p>\n

There is a corridor along the house that, not only double-functions as a small studio and an extra living space, but it also features sliding glass doors that connect the house with its backyard, pool and fireplace.<\/p>\n

In the second storey you will find a nice and airy bedroom that opens to a fairly big rooftop terrace, that allows the owners to indulge in a warm Summer evening.<\/p>\n
