In preparation for that event, Maison & Objet invited designer Philippe Model to choose his favorite pieces, and one of them caught our eye. Today we are talking about Philippe Model’s favorite mid-century rug, and we are pretty sure you are going to love it!

Audrey is not just your ordinary mid-century rug. With a cheerful look, it is a unique approach to mid-century design. Audrey is a low pile rug that features a very mid-century pattern of colored triangles and other geometrical shapes. It is made using a synthetic fiber called Tencel, and the artisans produce it by using a cut and loop technique. It does sound fancy, right?

The bright vivid colors mix with the abstract geometric pattern to produce an amazingly rich indoor rug.
