Although it is not exactly cheap, the vegetarian tasting menu by three-Michelin-star Chef Alain Passard is probably the closest you will get to heaven in your lifetime. More than food, the Chef delivers an experience that can be enjoyed by vegetarians and their non-vegetarian friends. All the vegetables used by the Chef come from his own organic farm and the menu you’ll be tasting will depend on which vegetables are available at the time. Enjoy dishes like cep mushrooms with lemon and a vol au vent (puff pastry case) filled with baby peas, turnips, and snow peas in a sauce spiked with Cote du Jura wine.

If you are looking for a quieter place to have dinner after a day roaming around Maison et Objet, chef Afrien Cachot’s storefront bistro in the heart of the city might be the ideal place. The amazing French chef has finally opened his first restaurant, where you can expect nothing but skilled contemporary French cuisine and a frequently changing menu with dishes such as cod with a soubise, mussel emulsion, and powdered grilled onions. In the photo above you can see one of the cod plates, served with radishes.
Fulgurances

Fulgurances is the result of the combined efforts of three French food writers. Hugo Hivernat, Sophie Coribert, and Rebecca Asthalter opened this relaxed restaurant back in 2015. Since then, they have been serving as an incubator for new culinary talents across town, welcoming young chefs who want to take the next step in their careers. It has earned the reputation for being one of the most exciting tables in Paris and it is time you try it out!

Still loking for a place to eat in Paris? Even though it is quite difficult to score an actual reservation at chef Bertrand Grébaut’s table, by the end of your meal you will be thankful for your persistence. The chef’s cooking style is – in his own words – “innocent, spontaneous, and balanced,” which in the end translates to superbly delicate, subtle dishes like mushrooms with oyster and foie gras bouillon or seared tuna with raspberries and tomato water.
Ellsworth

Ellsworth is a quite place in L’Ile de Paris. Brought to the city by American chef Braden Perkins, at Ellsworth you will find small plates, and find yourself sitting at the bar and tucking into some great nibbles without the hassle of making a reservation. You should make sure to arrive early, so you don’t miss the buttermilk fried chicken! The best place in town to find quality comfort food and definitely one of the top restaurants in Paris!
L’Astrance

If you are looking for a French haute-cuisine restaurant that it truly worth your time and it is not just more of the same, then L’Astrance is where you should go. It is one of the most famous restaurants in Paris, and that’s because Chef Pascal Barbot is probably one of the most imaginative chefs in all Paris and his elegant and lyrical dishes will make you think twice before diving into the artwork that comes on your plate.
Restaurant David Toutain

Chef David Toutain has finally opened his own space after having worked in several other top-notch kitchens. At his namesake restaurant, you will find constantly-changing tasting menus, which deliver some of the most interesting food in Paris. Think dishes like a monochromatic white composition of cuttlefish with Yuba, or nearly translucent Parmesan gnocchi, seasoned with the juice extracted from cooking the cheese at very low temperatures for hours!
Divellec

You might not think about Paris as your favorite seafood city. But after Chef Mathieu Pacaud came to the city with a luxury schooner of a restaurant on Les Invalides, you might want to reconsider that thought. Not only does it have stunning winter-garden decor by Studio K.O., but the €49 prix-fixe lunch menu is a terrific buy! You can also order a la carte, but should be prepared to land a big bill and go for fricassee of ormeaux, rougets with artichokes and aioli.
