Design Miami/ is the global forum for design. Each fair brings together the most influential collectors, designers, curators and critics from around the world in celebration of design culture and commerce. It’s in this fair that you’ll fall in love with design and art and discover more about this intriguing world that we adore so greatly.

Design Visionary Awards
The Design Miami/ Visionary Award celebrates those who have significantly contributed to the field of design, such as designers, curators, architects, and luminaries who influence and are engaged in design in the broadest sense. These awards are a great way to celebrate design and art, as well as give a boost to these fields, searching for bigger and greater talents each year. Last year, Pedro Reyes & Carla Fernandez were selected for the 2018 winners of this award, a contemporary artist and a fashion designer that presented a collaborative exhibition. We can’t wait to find out this year’s winner!
Talks programme
Design Miami/’s Design Talks program presents the design world’s most compelling current topics, bringing together the creatives, collectors and critics actively influencing design discourse and production. You won’t want to miss these debates and design talks that will feed your intellect.

Galleries to visit
At the core of the Design Miami/ forum is a marketplace for collectible design, amid which the most reputable international design galleries present curated exhibitions of museum-quality furniture, lighting and objets d’art, attracting the highest level of private and public collectors of historical and contemporary design. You’ll find some of the best news when it comes to furniture and lighting, from brands all over the world, meeting in one place and feeding us with incredible art and design in object form.
Curio
Curio is Design Miami/’s newest exhibition platform which invites designers, curators, innovators and gallerists to present cabinets of curiosity throughout the fair. The program spans the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, and emphasizes surprising installations of scientific and technological research alongside handcraft and creative production.
