With only three days to go to IMM Cologne, make sure you get all the details right and optimize your time at the trade show!
IMM 2018 will begin in the upcoming Monday, so now might be a good time to lock some details right and make sure your head is in the right place before you start roaming the halls. Make a list of all the brands and stands you want to visit, and don’t miss a single breath of this year’s IMM Cologne because it is going to be ~lit~!

1. It’s a 15-minute drive from Köln’s center
Consumer campaign #GibDirStoff of the Initiative Textile Räume e.V in the context of the imm Cologne 2017.
Koelnmesse – the place where every year imm Cologne takes place – is actually really close to the center of the city and its famous gothic cathedral. You should know this, because if you were thinking about taking a stroll in the city, now you know you can do so and then all you need to do is take a quick cab to Koelnmesse!
2. Opening times
Make sure you are not late and stay until the last minute to enjoy all the amazing things imm 2018 has to offer. And let us tell you, this year will be amazing!

Sun. 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
3. How to move between halls
Don’t get lost at Koelnmesse! It might seem confusing at first, but that’s why we are sharing their floor plan with you. This way, there is no way you will get lost, making sure you visit every single hall, every brand you are there to see and even attend the annual imm Congress!
4. What can you find in the different halls?
Eleven halls are prepared every year to hold what we know as the biggest furniture fair in Germany! Make sure you know which hall you want to visit first and what each one of them has to offer:
Hall 1 – Designers Market by blickfang
Halls 2.1 and 2.2 – Global Lifestyles, and Pure Editions (Living-room and bedroom furniture from around the world; Innovative interior and luminaire, product concepts with edition character, Das Haus – Interiors on Stage)
Halls 3.1 and 3.2 – Global Lifestyles, and Pure Editions
Hall 4.2 – Pure Architects (Holistic concepts for home decoration and interior design for bathrooms, flooring, wallcoverings, lighting and smart home)
Halls 5.1 and 5.2 – Prime (Modern living-room and bedroom furniture, solid wood furniture, children’s furniture, tables, chairs, dining rooms, period furniture and reproductions)
Hall 6 – Comfort (Upholstered furniture – suites, armchairs, divans, sofas, sofa beds)
Hall 7 – Smart (Contemporary young living, ready-to-assemble furniture, bedroom furniture, children’s furniture, selection of associated products/furnishing accessories)
Hall 8 – Smart
Hall 9 – Sleep (Mattress and sleep systems, boxspring beds, waterbeds, bedding, bed linen and accessories)
Hall 10.1 and 10.2 – Pure and Comfort (Holistic living philosophies of leading design brands; Upholstered furniture – suites, armchairs, divans, sofas, sofa beds)
Hall 11 – Pure (Holistic living philosophies of leading design brands)
5. IMM Congress 2018
Make sure you don’t miss imm Cologne 2018 Congress on the 18th of January! Mark the date, because you really don’t want to miss it. This year’s theme? “From nice to have to a battle for survival – success factors in furniture e-commerce.” The congress will be hosted by Dr. Kai Hudetz, Chief Executive Officer, IFH Retail Consultants and some of the key topics that will be leading the talk are “who is expanding and who isn’t in e-commerce?”, international business models, virtual and augmented reality, and the future of furniture e-commerce.
6. Pure Talents Contest
The best place to get to know up and coming German designers! Take some time to visit Hall 3.1 and find out all about international, up-and-coming young designers, who will be presenting their groundbreaking ideas and prototypes in the fields of product design, interior design, and architecture.

7. Essential Home will be in Hall 11.1, Stand D.003
Essential Home will be at imm Cologne in partnership with DelightFULL, and you actually have the chance to book a meeting with one of their representatives and talk about mid-century modern design and find out all about the new pieces the brand will be unveiling this year!
