Interior design company GIA Renovation took on their hands the task to renovate this outdated kitchen and transform it into a contemporary, sophisticated room filled with light and a sense of luxury. To make this happen, they decided to use a simple color palette of white, black and gold paired with modern and sleek furniture. This was the result.
White was the color chosen for the majority of the kitchen. A geometrically patterned tiling was chosen for the kitchen walls and backsplash which, paired with the black matte elements created an effortless sense of sophistication and modernity.
The golden dining chairs are what gives this updated kitchen all its personality. They add a touch of glamour to the room while not being too much or passing off as too luxurious and neoclassical.
The black contemporary pendant lamps the designers chose for the dining area tie together all the other black elements scattered across the room. The good thing about pairing black and white is that with enough black details, you can make sure the white room doesn’t feel too bright or overwhelming.
The herringbone backsplash in white and gray goes extremely well with the modern appliances chosen for the kitchen. They bring out texture and pattern and make sure this design keeps a fresh and contemporary look, without it being dull.
