Milan Design Week has taken over Milan with all kinds of exhibitions celebrating some of the design from all over the world. From all the exhibitions though, we’ve picked our favorite: Versace in Palazzo Versace on Via Gesù. With incredible neon colors and a tropical vibe, this exhibition features some of the best modern design by Versace and Sasha Bikoff, the designer behind this incredible project. Discover more here!

We’re sure many will agree with us: Versace’s exhibition at Milan Design Week is certainly one for the books, especially considering the fact that it marks the first time that the fashion house has ever undertaken a complete redecoration of the palazzo for Milan Design Week. And aren’t we glad it happened – the neon-tinged walls and ceilings, the incredibly bold and colorful furniture, the stylish choice of patterns and the immense talent of Sasha Bikoff and artist Andy Dixon evident in every look.
18th century architect and neon modern furniture is the perfect unique combination that only Versace could pull off. Versace Home debuted a host of six new seating collections that play on its iconic brand imagery and asked Bikoff to design each room with them. Being an “old” fan of the brand, Bikoff felt as if the stars had aligned and poured her heart into this incredible exhibition of new and exciting new products.
In Donatella’s legendary fitting room, Bikoff has installed a feathery wallpaper on the ceiling to complement the Rhapsody seating collection, which features patterned upholstery with jewelry-like hardware accents. Bikoff has put together an installation filled with palm trees, glowing neon stage displays, and unique customizations of archival Versace Home classics, specially upholstered in metallic tones and bold hues.
Bikoff cited Versace’s fall/winter 1994 campaign photographed by Richard Avedon as her main inspiration for the project. Bikoff also created a custom carpet featuring a swirling mix of iconic Versace motifs—from the Medusa logo to graphic checkerboards to cheetah prints—for a maximalist statement. This is definitely an installation we just wouldn’t be able to forget.
