The 5.5-acre property, formerly the site of the Metropolitan Water District (MWD) headquarters designed by architect William Pereira, is located on a designated transportation corridor in the city of Los Angeles’ Central City North community plan area. The proposed development will bring residential units, retail and creative office space, and a boutique hotel to the site. With 778 residences, including market-rate and affordable units, 1111 Sunset will provide Los Angeles with much-needed new housing near job centers.
