BUNBURGERS BLIGNY
📍 Milan, Italy
“After presenting its Memphis inspired Toadstool collection in 2016 and their collaborative exhibition with Italian terracotta artisan Poggi Ugo during the last Milan Design Week, now Masquespacio returns back to Milan with its first interior design project for Bun, located at Viale Bligny, next to the Bocconi University. The aim for the project was to create an identity with a clear focus on the younger generations and at the same time represent a more sophisticated approach for a high-quality hamburger restaurant.”
“During the last years there is a strong growth of hamburger chains, although most of them are opting for a vintage & industrial look for their spaces. The design developed by Masquespacio for Bun takes the opposite direction and seeks to create an innovative concept that showcases the authenticity of Bun and its smash burgers. This way Masquespacio has used gold touches and terrazzo tiles mixed with a splash of color that creates a sophisticated, but at the same time fresh design.”
LASASTRERÍA
📍 Valencia, Spain
“The design takes its inspiration from the dream of chef Sergio Giraldo and bartender Cristóbal Bouchet to open their own restaurant La Sastrería, with the help of Grupo Gastroadictos. The aim of the project like in most of Masquespacio’s projects has been to fulfill the illusion of a group of young entrepreneurs, seeking to offer a new culinary and sensorial experience in Valencia.”
GET THE LOOK
“The design shows patterns made with customized tiles that reinterpret the façades from the neighborhood. A special attention has been given to the bar that looks like a façade on its own with its ornaments and singular figures. In the middle we can see how the attention is centered on the selection of spirits that will be used for the cocktails, being the speciality from Cristóbal and La Sastrería.”
PIUR
📍 Valencia, Spain
“The project developed for Piur starts with the previous investigation of its brand strategy and the values expressed by the client from which honesty, the use of a fresh product and a concept inspired by the Valencian origin of its founders can be highlighted. Another important fact transmitted by the client is that the visitors of Piur are persons that desire to have a moment of joy together with their family or friends. “
