Studio Lotus’ design concept is based on the principles of conscious design, which celebrates the local resources, cultural influences, keen attention to detail and an inclusive process. Among their creative design ideas and unique projects, is Studio Lotus‘ Aloft hotel design. Interpreting an international hospitality brand to create a unique spatial experience, Aloft stands for all that is fresh and spirited: a sleek, uncluttered take on work, play, and travel.

This boutique hotel project has been designed to provide a modern and youthful hospitality experience through its unique public spaces. The interior design of this hospitality project is all about the bright color combinations and trendy mid-century modern furnishings.

In the hotel lobby, that is placed between the courtyard and the driveway, Studio Lotus wanted to do a large, free-flowing space with housing seating clusters, reading nooks and pool tables tat function together as an open office setup.

The creative hotel bar opens into the lobby, a relatively private one characterized by a muted colour palette. The shelving backdrop, fashioned after Aloft’s vinyl display, has been crafted in painted glass to create a pivoting screen.

After the young and mid-century modern vibe in the interior design of the Aloft hotel, Studio Lotus wanted to bring a relaxed and contemporary feel to the outdoor pool space through neutral color tones and geometric tile details. The white outdoor furniture enhances the bright blue color from the pool tile work.
