You are now inside of the Emirates Palace, where all you can see is brightness, characteristic Arabic shapes and colours like beige, white, gold that are not just colours, in this case, they are colours worked in a way that together, the mixture of those will probably make you feel like royalty.
Modern techniques of etching and casting allowed traditional patterns to become an integral component of the design.
Islamic painting at its finest, lovely, the way that they use a style of painting and architecture with more than a thousand years to develop this charming ceiling.
Water features and palm trees allude to the palatial oasis of luxury that is both culturally sensitive to the styles and traditions of Abu Dhabi while maintaining an affinity with the national identity of the United Arab Emirates.
HYATT REGENCY JEJU
In a prime position overlooking the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by a tidal coast and strong elements of nature, the Hyatt Regency Jeju Hotel emerges, a hotel that serves as an escape from traffic, accelerated life with many meetings, many projects, among others. It is then the ideal escape for a life full of stress and the WATG also did not waver in this project.
WATG has put to work in yet another difficult but challenging project, the firm has developed the idea of an octagonal structure so that regardless of the person’s vision, the building is observed in the same way, bringing a panorama of 360º.
Embracing Korean culture, the predominant form of the octagon is showcased in the main building which houses a rising an amazing, clean and quiet atrium.
GRAND HYATT KUALA LUMPUR
We have been in the Persian Gulf, in northeastern Asia with South Korea, now we come to the Malay peninsula, namely Malaysia, in its capital Kuala Lumpur. The Grand Hyatt chain decided to open a hotel in Kuala Lumpur and relied on WATG for this project. Let’s take a look at what was done.
The building has an express elevator to the atrium of the sky with 360-degree views and brings an immediate perspective of the human scale, while it is designed to carry out a campaign of enthusiasm during a journey of the host
The interior possesses a soft coloured marble and expansive windows bringing a flood of light to the restaurant while remaining cool and refreshing in a warm and humid climate.
Clad in exterior materials of gold-tinted glass and metallic coated white glazing, the building combines harmoniously with the surrounding city skyline.
