In a day where we’re honoring women even more than usual, today it is all about some of the most inspiring and powerful women in the interior design industry. We have selected 10 of our favorite designers, who are all amazing professionals and, because of that, they just so happen to be recognized as some of the best interior designers in the world today.
Let’s get to know them, and their outstanding work.

Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola is one of the best names to start our list. The Spanish-born, Milan-based interior designer is one of the most influential names of current times. Her designs are mostly known for its pragmatic and playful elements, which we can’t all help but immediately recognize.
Kelly Hoppen
Interior designer, product designer, and entepreneur, Kelly Hoppen is one of the most famous interior designers of our time. The London-based designer is known for her sleek interiors, always with a touch of elegance, luxury and, of course, comfort.
Kelly Wearstler
Kelly Wearstler… If you’re a design lover you have heard this name over and over again, always for the best of reasons. The American interior designer is also known for having her own furniture, as well as for working in partnership with many great brands to create luxurious solutions for our homes.
Emily Summers
American interior designer Emily Summers has been creating elegant interior design solutions for decades, now. With time she has developed her own style. If you’re going with an Emily Summers interior you can expect a contemporary decor “with a warm twist of soulfulness.”
Annabelle Selldorf
Annabelle Selldorf, another great name in our list of inspiring women from the design world, creates the most exquisite minimalist interiors you can think of. Selldorf has worked with some of the world’s top collectors, and gallerists, creating interior solutions we could only dream of.
Jennifer Post
Think classic white interiors that are elegantly neutral. You’re getting into Jennifer Post’s territory, now. The interior designer has worked with Simon Cowell and Jennifer Lopez throughout her career, creating gorgeous interior designs.
Sussanne Khan
Sussanne Khan couldn’t be missing from our list. The India-born interior designer is one of the most influential names in all India, and has been creating luxurious interior design solutions for quite some time, now.
Victoria Hagan
Another great interior designer, Victoria Hagan, is best known for her neutral backgrounds, paired with bold patterns and textures that come to add depth to her designs.
India Mahdavi
The Iran-born interior designer is nowadays based in Paris. With an education in architecture, Mahdavi likes to play with multiple materials and textures, turning them into playful interiors. She is known for her coloful interior design projects, being Sketch one of our favorite projects from the world acclaimed designer.
Rose Uniacke
“A room is not a museum of furniture,” says designer Uniacke. “It should feel welcoming and human, calm and contemplative.” And if you pay close attention to Rose Uniacke’s interiors you will find that soul is the main ingredient of her projects.
