The fifth and last day of London Fashion Week Spring 2018 was yesterday. Since last Friday, the city was submerged in an atmosphere of beauty, trends and fashion, pure fashion. From the catwalks to the streets, everyone seemed to be inspired to level up their fashion game!

So many things happened during these five days that we could spend weeks telling you everything. But neither you or we have the time and the patience to do it, so let’s stay for the highlights!
The Return of Armani

Before Sunday, the last time Armani brought a collection to London was 11 years ago in a Charity event sponsored by Bono. Because of that, when we knew Emporio Armani Collection would be walked in London we became ecstatic! The creator, Mr. Armani himself, told that return to London because of the energy and creative power of the city but it definitely had something about the major renovation of the Bond Street’s store.
Diversity and Representation

The world of fashion isn’t just for the tall, skinny and perfect people anymore! It was forced to become more inclusive and representative and we already could see some progress in London Fashion Week! Kelly Know, known as a model and disability activist walked for Teatum Jones, a Londoner womenswear brand.

The catwalks brought to us the latest trends for the Spring and Summer ahead, but was in the streets that we could find the best Fall trends! London was invaded by fashion lovers and we were able to see some bold fashion choices that are dictating the trends for this Fall. Tweed, deconstructed jackets and vintage sunglasses were between the most popular choices for celebrities and fashion aficionados.
Trend alert: Pink and Ruffles

Dozens of collections passed by London in the last days and we could see a little bit of everything but we were able to trace a pattern: pink and ruffles will be super in vogue when the summer starts again! Pink was everywhere, from clothes to footwear, passing by bags and jewelry. And ruffles? They were added to dresses, skirts, blouses and even pants.
Anti-fur Protesting

It’s already kind of a tradition to have some protesters at the entrance of the shows to reclaim against the use of animal fur. This year wasn’t an exception and dozens of protesters gathered at the doors of some shows, including Burberry, with the phrase ” Fur is for animals not rich idiots”. After all, attacks against animal rights cannot be justified with fashion, am I right?
