Dating back to 1854, the building was formerly an hôtel de passe (a short-time hotel) before its complete renovation overseen by Parisian architect Philippe Medioni. The Penthouse suite has a very stylish sitting area that features two beautiful Maya velvet armchairs and a sofa from BRABBU’s collection, a full appointed cocktail bar, and even a desk record player with a selection of vinyl records. Based on the river Seine, in the 21st arrondissement, the floating craft is docked at the foot of the Gare d’Austerlitz, between the Austerlitz viaduct and the Charles de Gaulle bridge. Renaissance Paris Republique Hotel

The Renaissance Paris Republique Hotel is the latest project by the Renaissance Hotels group. Located in La République – Paris new it district – the seventies building which used to be a temporary home for traveling artists was given a makeover by the acclaimed designer Didier Gomez. The idea behind this project was to make Republique Hotel mirror the diversity lived in the city, something the interior designer honored exceptionally well. “Everything including the reception desks recalling China, African-style fabrics, gray stone quarried in France and local furniture and artworks, points to the ‘real’ multicultural Paris,” explained Gomez to Wallpaper*.
Mama Shelter Paris

For those of you who are traveling to Maison et Objet 2017 on a budget, but are still looking for a way to do it in style, this Philippe Starck designed hotel is the right place for you! At Mama Shelter Paris, “the 172 rooms entirely conceived by Philippe Starck are equipped with a 5-Star bedding and lively interiors.” All the rooms mix exposed concrete walls, white bed linen, and graphic custom-made carpets, with fairground masks that double as lampshades. They are also equipped with microwave and multimedia iMac!
