Green marble was one of the biggest obsessions of 2018 on Pinterest. Everyone seemed to be loving this trend and, amazingly, it seemed to go well with everything. One of the things we loved the most about green marble was how it could convey both a feeling of easiness perfect for Summer, as well as a cozy vibe, which seems to be spot on for the cocooning season that is approaching. That’s the case with this mid-century living room by Essential Home and DelightFULL.
The green oversized rug and table top seem to make a perfect match with the gold plated brass details on the mid-century sofa and lighting design on the side. The overall autumnal feeling also comes from the faded background over the window, which instantly takes us to a comfy October raining Sunday.
Here’s how you can get this living room design…
Start with Essential Home’s sleek black mid-century sofa, Dandridge. The gold-plated tapered legs make a stunning contrast with the deep black upholstery, thus creating a more sophisticated look. A simple mid-century inspired design with simple lines and, yet, attention to detail and overall quality.
As for the use of green marble, you can go with Craig center table. The polished brass body is perfectly well-balanced with the marble table top, adding a special look to the otherwise ordinary mid-century center table. Take note that you can also get this table personalized, with white or black marble, as well as any other finish you’d like your brass base to feature.
As for lighting, Essential Home’s designers went with a minimalist mid-century floor lamp by DelightFULL. The multi-focal lamp allows you to choose which focal points you want to light up, making Ike the perfect reading lamp and match with Dandridge sofa…
