Navigli waterways

You don’t need to go to Venice to see stunning canals. And while Milan once had an extensive network of canals designed by Leonardo da Vinci himself, today we are down to two long waterways, the Naviglio Grande and the Naviglio Pavese. Make sure to stroll along the canals, and stop by for an aperitif before dinner.

Yes, there is no mistake. April 7, 2018, locals and tourist will be joining at Arco della Pace at 3pm to start a street pillow fight, that is scheduled to end by 7pm. If you are not in Milan, make sure to check in with you local tourist office, as this is an event that will be happening on the same day, all around Europe.

Unicredit building

Milan’s biggest symbol of modern times, the Unicredit building is a skryscraper that doesn’t go unnoticed when visiting the city. It was finished in 2012 and it is still Milan’s highest building, going up to 231 metres (758 feet).

Via Monte Napoleone

Keen on doing a little bit of shopping? Take the subway and head over to Via Monte Napoleone, where you will find some of the most famous high end fashion houses.

Weekly Fiera di Sinigaglia

You can’t go to a new city and not visit their flea markets. Although London and Paris are best known for their amazing and famous flea markets, Milan’s Fiera di Sinigaglia cannot be missed.
