432 Park Avenue is one of the most famous residential skyscrapers in the entire world and the tallest residential building in all the globe. What was initially planned to be a 1,300 feet building, topped out at 1,396 feet once the construction work was finished. This massive structure of the New York skyline was conceived by architect Rafael Viñoly, while the interiors were designed by Deborah Berke and the firm Bentel & Bentel. With this in mind, what you are about to see is an actual 432 Park Avenue apartment designed by Deborah Berke Partners with one of the most breathtaking views in the world.

Following a very visually clean aesthetics, Deborah Berke Partners took the challenge to design every interior of the residential skyscraper in New York. With 10-foot-by-10-foot windows that make it possible for you to indulge in this outstanding view of the Big Apple’s skyline.
“Our design for all the interior apartments features formal alignments that frame views and create a connection to the exterior.”
“In the living room of the model residence, a Yves Klein coffee table, a Fortuny chandelier and an Elizabeth Eakins wool/silk rug perfectly align with the windows and the city beyond,” explained the designers for Deborah Berke partners on their Behance account.
“Floors are pale maple, bathrooms are slabbed marble, and all hardware is custom designed for the building.” In the end, you get an elegant and sophisticated interior design, with a very bespoke feeling, where every detail is custom-made.
The kitchen features a marble flooring and an all-white color palette, with the exception of a few light wood and marble details. Three minimalist pendant lamps hover above the kitchen island, while on the far right we can see another oversized window with a view over Central Park.
Every room of this model residence mirrors the geometrical architecture of the building and the work done by Viñoly. The grandeur of such a project is balanced by the use of functional everyday objects. This made it possible for the designers to create a luxurious interior design with a functional side.
Of course that Deborah Berke made sure to include rich fabrics, textures, and colors to the design. In the master bedroom, we can see a dark blue velvet that sits well with the patterned quilt and the tufted wall on the headboard wall.
